High School Course Sequence

In the 2023-24 school year, SCA had its first high school class when it opened a 9th grade.  Each subsequent school year, we plan to open the next grade level, and aim to graduate our first seniors in 2027.

Below is the planned course sequence for SCA high school students.  In Texas, high school students earn 26 or more credits to graduate.  Of those credits, 16 are earned in the core academic subjects of Language Arts, Math, Science and History.  Additional required courses include Speech, P.E., Art, and Languages Other Than English (LOTE), for 5 credits total.  The remaining 5 credits are electives.
