For 24 years, Mrs. Amy McClain has been making a profound impact on students and colleagues alike, teaching in both public and private schools. Mrs. McClain has been married to Roary for 20 years, and together they are raising three wonderful children — two high schoolers and a middle schooler. Mrs. McClain earned her BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Bible studies from Corban University, followed by two Master’s degrees — one in Curriculum and Instruction, and another in Instructional Design and Technology. She also completed a Principal Certification from Eastern Washington University. Always with an eye toward gaining more tools and knowledge to apply in her work in academia, Mrs. McClain is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Special Education through Liberty University. Through it all, she says faith in Jesus has been her foundation. The specific scriptures she stands on are: James 2:2-4, 1 Peter 4:7, and 1 John 3:18.
