In the midst of the pandemic, Rachel Tiller started a small Christian homeschool pod, providing families with a faith-filled learning environment during an uncertain time. As the months went on, she felt a clear calling from God—this was meant to be more than just a temporary solution. In 2021, Spicewood Christian Academy was founded, stepping forward in faith to establish a Christ-centered school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth.

What began as a small group of students has, in just four years, grown into a kindergarten through 12th grade school with over 70 students on a four-building campus spanning three acres in Spicewood, Texas. Between years two and three, the student population doubled, a blessing that made it clear God was expanding SCA’s reach. To accommodate this growth, three new buildings and four additional classrooms were added, ensuring space for both current and future students.

As SCA continued to develop, new leadership stepped in to build a strong foundation for the future. The administrative team worked diligently to establish sustainable systems, expand curriculum offerings, introduce engaging enrichment courses, and make many campus enhancements. Through the generosity and partnership of families, local churches, and dedicated individuals, SCA has been able to provide an attainable Christian education while growing to meet the needs of its students.

We believe God is still writing SCA’s story. As more families are drawn to our mission, we continue to seek passionate teachers and staff who share our commitment to excellence. We have witnessed His provision at every turn, and we trust that He will continue to lead, bless, and strengthen our school for generations to come.
