Key Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership
- Integrate biblical truth and Christian values into daily lessons and classroom routines
- Lead age-appropriate prayer and Bible lessons
- Model Christ-like character in all interactions with students, parents, and staff
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in kindness, respect, and integrity
Instruction & Curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school standards
- Teach foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills
- Incorporate hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and creative activities
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Classroom Environment
- Create a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom
- Maintain positive classroom management using age-appropriate strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
Family Communication
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and classroom activities
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences
- Build strong, respectful partnerships with families
Collaboration & Professionalism
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school leadership
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
- Support school-wide initiatives and activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field (preferred)
- Teaching certification or licensure (as required by state)
- Experience teaching in an early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A clear testimony of Christian faith and active involvement in a local church

- Commitment to Christian education and discipleship
- Ability to model Christian character and maintain a biblical worldview
- A heart for mentoring young children in both learning and faith
